*6/18/07   The Rochester Balloon Company Crew Trip to Walt Disney World is over. We left on the 10th and got back on the 17th. We had a great time and hope to be back in the air soon!

*5/28/07   Rainbow Twist is back from the Annual Aircraft Inspection earlier than we expected! It arrived on May 27th instead! And we also flew that same day too! What a day! And once again, there are more pictures in the Recent Photos.

*05/23/07  Rainbow Twist is at the Annual Aircraft Inspection to ensure the aircraft is in top condition. The balloon should be back by May 29th. So during this time we do not have the balloon. And what that means is no flying this week.

*05/12/07  Not that this is a "big" feature or anything, but we have just added a Hit Counter to the site. To see how many people have been on the site, and to see what guest number you are, just go down to the bottom of the page. You might see counters on other pages too!

*05/09/07 We just did out first flight of 2007!!! The winds were kind of slow and we kind of "hovered" in the air for a while, but we all had fun and another safe landing with friendly landowners that were kind enough to get on their 4 Wheeler and show us the best way to get to the balloon. So thank you to the crew and the landowners for helping us out on this great first flight of the year!

*05/04/07 Once again, more updates! We are sorry to all of you people who liked the wedding slides, but they are now gone. We will be replacing them soon. We are working on making a new slide-show with the recent pictures, but it will take a while. So please be patient while we get the slideshow made and posted!

*04/30/07 Please check out the "Photo Gallery I" page. We have added some new photos to that page. Yes, finally some more "recent" ones. As we do flights, that means more pictures. And more pictures means more pictures on the photo galleries! But, we also took some off too. And also look at the new and improved Crew Roster! That is updated too! We took out the old crew members and put in the new ones.

* 04/28/07  Watch for some exciting improvements in the RBC web site over the next few weeks. We have assigned a new web master to the site. His name is Kyle. Over the next several weeks Kyle will be making updates and improvements to the site overall. So stay tuned! And welcome to the team Kyle!

* 09/01/06  We have been able to reduce our ride backlog so we are currently taking names for additional reservations from the immediate Rochester area.  We are also still able to handle specific tether or business advertising events . If you have one of these planned or a special event such as a birthday or anniversary please contact us immediately so we can quote it and schedule it as required.

If you looking for a balloon ride and live in the immediate Rochester area we will take your name and phone number and then contact you when flying conditions are favorable. This ride call list only applies to residents within 45 miles of Rochester. Thanks!

* 04/03/05  Waiting for snow to melt, ground to thaw, grass to grow and balloons to get back in the air! Looking forward to a wonderful flying season in 2005

* 07/27/04  The weather has been improving lately and we have been able to get out and fly the last few weeks. It's been a challenging weather year! All the area pilots are glad to see there has been some weather improvement. The last 2 years have been pretty challenging for flying around here due to weather and winds. We have even considered moving to Albuquerque! That area is known for it's favorable winds and over 750 balloons fly there each Fall during the October Balloon Festival.

* 04/15/04  Well, so much for the Winter flying. It was not a good Winter to fly balloons. One of the windiest on record. Plus it was warm and sloppy quite often which makes it difficult to find a landing spot. Warmer weather is here now though and we are hoping for a great flying season. We've flown our first Spring flight already!

* 07/04/03  The weather was again favorable during the 4th of July Celebration. The RBC team inflated a balloon at Silver Lake in Rochester just prior to the band concert and the exciting 4th of July fireworks. Several thousand people were on hand to watch the events. Pictures will be uploaded soon to one of the photo galleries.

* 10/21/02  The RBC Team participated at the Mankato HistoryFest Oct 11-13th. It was a bit too windy too fly but we had lot's of fun with the hundreds of kids who visited with us during the weekend!

* 07/20/02  The RBC pilots and crew headed to Ashland, WI to participate in their Bay Days citywide celebration. Check out the pictures in Photo Gallery II!

* 07/14/02  The RBC Team had the most spectacular flight you could imagine this weekend. We drifted up a river valley for well over a mile following the river back and forth. Check out the pictures in Photo Gallery III. They are verrrrrry cool!

* 07/06/02  Added pictures to Photo Gallery III from the 4th of July festivities at Silver Lake in downtown Rochester. Also updated the  ballooning links and some of the other photo pages. 

* 04/14/02  The RBC Pilots attended a Balloon Safety Seminar last weekend hosted by the Minnesota Balloonist's Association. We had many excellent speakers and  learned about some new sources for detailed ballooning weather. *  03/23/02  The RBC team recently helped launch a new branch bank for Merchants Bank here in Rochester. We had a great time! Lots of rides and great weather. Check out the pictures in Photo Gallery IV.
